I woke up before everyone else this morning.. (quite rare) and was greeted to the sight of our lakehouse totally socked in by fog. After a soak in the tub I slipped into polarfleece and wellies and wandered around the yard and down to the dock, feeling quite out of place in time as this is typical early October weather. Only reminder of the fact that this may be June is the colors of flowers popping through the gloom.
I'm sad to see my iris done for the year...But I know that soon following is my lavender and roses.
My little smoke plant has finally started looking more like a tree..
And this was the first rose fully in bloom.. a cheery sight in candy stripe.
